2020 5th International Conference on Machine Learning Technologies (ICMLT 2020)
June 19-21, 2020 as Virtual Conference
2020 5th International Conference on Machine Learning Technologies (ICMLT 2020) was held successfully during June 19-21, 2020 as virtual conference. It is mainly supported by School of Computer and Information Engineering (BTBU), China.
After careful consideration and in light of the global health emergency and pervasive travel restrictions, the organzing committee has made the difficult decision to convert ICMLT 2020 to a fully virtual conference, due to the epidemic situation. Except for the regular presentation style, delegates who cannot attend the meeting due to the epidemic situation have participated in the web conference session or video conference session, etc, during June 19-21, 2020.
ICMLT 2020 conference proceedings have been online in ACM Library Digital (ISBN: 978-1-4503-7764-5), and indexed by Ei Compendex and Scopus.
The organizing committee has invited Prof. Ponnuthurai Nagaratnam Suganthan (IEEE Fellow) from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, Prof. Shugong Xu (IEEE Fellow) from Shanghai University, China, and Prof. Keum-Shik Hong (IEEE Fellow) from Pusan National University, South Korea to deliver keynote speeches. They have given topics with "Randomization Based Deep and Shallow Learning Methods for Classification", "AI+5G - The New Era", "Brain-Computer Interface and Neuro-modulation: fNIRS Study" seperately.
Moreover the conference was composed of 8 technical oral sessions, topics coverd, for example, Software and Data Engineering, Machine learning, etc. Each parallel session went through smoothly and a “Best Presentation” award was issued at the end of sub-conference, with the support of session chairs.
The Best Presentation award as below:
Session 1: Zhuojun Ren, Donghua University, China with topic "Byte Visualization Method for Malware Classification"
Session 2: Mingyuan Meng, The university of Sydney, Australia with topic "High-quality Panorama Stitching based on Asymmetric Bidirectional Optical Flow"
